We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive environment where every participant feels protected and supported. TRA ensures that all individuals involved are informed of their responsibilities in helping to protect children and young people from harm.
Every child and young person has the right to feel safe, respected, and free from all forms of abuse, neglect, or exploitation. They deserve the opportunity to participate in sport within a secure, positive, and enjoyable setting. TRA maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy towards any form of abuse or neglect.
TRA is focused on building and sustaining a child-safe culture that is clearly understood, consistently implemented, and upheld by all members of our community.
Our Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy reflects TRA’s proactive commitment to the safety, wellbeing, participation, and empowerment of all children who engage in our activities. The policy outlines the rights and responsibilities of everyone involved and defines the standards of behaviour expected, as well as behaviours that are deemed unacceptable.
