Please find attached the new TRA Ltd Grading Scales effective as from 1st January 2023 approved by the Board of Directors at the board meeting held on 4th August 2022.
The TRA Ltd National Grading Scales have been reduced to four levels across most TRA disciplines to encourage greater participation in graded competition and ensure uniformity across disciplines. Other disciplines may be included as and when appropriate scales have been developed.
Currently, only integer (whole number) scoring is used for determining the TRA Ltd Grading Scales to encourage all TRA Ltd members, affiliated clubs and State Associations to participate.
The TRA Ltd Grading Scales shall apply to all TRA Ltd National Championships as from 2023.
The directors of TRA Ltd also recognise that many State Associations already have their own grading scales in place. To this end, the adoption of the TRA Ltd grading scales for State and club level competitions is on a voluntary basis. However, the directors of TRA Ltd believe that it is in the best interests of all member organisations, affiliated clubs and individual members to adopt the grades as published.
Member organisations and affiliated clubs are requested to distribute this correspondence throughout your member networks as soon as practically possible.
