20 years ago, the "greatest games ever" were in full swing, and changed Australian sport forever. This week on SATV’s Tuesday Night Live, we celebrate both the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Join us for this very special show, broadcast live from the venue for the Olympic and Paralympic shooting competitions, the Sydney International Shooting Centre.

During this throw back special, we’ll be talking to medallists, competitors and officials from the Games; we’ll be taking an up-close look at the venue; and we’ll even hearing from members of our community with memories of this special time.

All of this – and more – this week on the Sydney 2000 Games 20th Anniversary edition of Tuesday Night Live!

7pm AEST Tuesday 22nd September

Check out SATV for this and other great content:

What does Wellbeing Week mean to you?

To align with the Australian Olympic Committee’s "Wellbeing Week", this time on Tuesday Night Live we are talking about mental preparation, resilience, overall health – both on and off the range – and what we could be doing to support the people around us.

Host Jon Harker is joined by a line-up of guests from the Australian Institute of Sport, the South Australian Sports Institute, and our very shooting own community:

• Chris Pitt – Paralympic Pistol Shooter who represented Australia at the 2016 Paralympic Games, and our latest "In Sight" athlete;

• Daniel Josifovski – People Development and Wellbeing, Community Engagement Adviser at Australian Institute of Sport. Daniel works with the Black Dog Institute and the Mental Fitness Program;

• Alex McNaughton – Psychologist & Wellbeing Lead who works with our athletes at the South Australian Sports Institute;

• Graham McClymont – Secretary at Brisbane Gun Club, focusing on reactivating the community; and

• Albert van Wyk – National Rifle Association of Australia Board Director

As always, we’d love to hear your questions and comments, so please drop us a line during the show!

Going live Tuesday 8th September at 7pm AEST here on Facebook Live, or on SATV using the link below:
